As a teenager, St. Teresa of Avila cared only about boys and clothes and flirting and rebelling — like other teenagers throughout the ages. Years later, she made a decision to give up her party lifestyle and enter religious life – but it wasn’t easy! Teresa struggled daily, and her perseverance and dedication to Christ led her to become not only a Saint, but a Doctor of the Church.
