John Paul II’s Letter to Young People – A Summary

11 May

In 1985, Pope John Paul II wrote an Apostolic Letter to the young people of the world, called ‘Dilecti Amici’. The original letter is a beautiful, but lengthy document. Fortunately, Fr. Richard Aladics has summarised the key points from JPII’s Letter to Young People for Xt3.

Hope is a virtue which is very active in young people for it is hope which leads you to plan and build your life. It is hope that leads you to begin taking responsibility for your life and for what goes on in the world around you. It is hope which lies at the heart of your decisions, your relationships and the values you aspire to live by.
